Nickelback have notched up another industry accolade, this time for their latest studio album, 2022’s “Get Rollin’“. While the diamond-certified outfit are already one of the most highly decorated modern hard rock bands out there, this week marks their first sales/streaming award for that tenth studio album.

San Quentin“, which was launched as the first single from that record back in September of 2022, has newly obtained gold status in the United States, with the RIAA handing down the honors on January 28th.

*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
