Sessions have begun for the third studio album from Swedish melodic death metal supergroup The Halo Effect. The band’s roster consists of numerous veterans of In Flames, with vocalist Mikael Stanne recently speaking on their progress with this next full-length. Stanne of course also fronts Dark Tranquillity and more.
Speaking to Futuro, Stanne said of The Halo Effect‘s current happenings:
“…We are working on our third album right now, so as soon as that is out, like by the end of the year or something like that, it’s gonna be time to tour again, of course. So, I hope we can come [to Chile] and do a proper tour.”
He later added, “And the new album is shaping up to be incredible. I just heard one song today, and, yeah, it’s gonna be fantastic.”
