XCOMM‘s brand new track “Fake ID” is newly streaming online. A music video accompanies this track from the teenage hardcore punk band, who feature Revel Ian, son of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, among their numbers. The band’s vocalist Michael Gatto said of this song:

“‘Fake ID‘ rips! It’s about getting rejected from shows for being under 21 when all you want to do is check out a band. The video shoot was amazing — it was so funny to walk around town dressed as grandmas for a day. I thought we looked great and I love how the video concludes with us walking into the ocean…”

As with this latest material, this new track also boasts production from the godfather of nü-metal, Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot). The band will be opening tonight’s (January 14th) Foo Fighters charity concert at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, CA, which doubles as a birthday bash for that band’s frontman Dave Grohl.

XCOMM are signed with Blowed Out Records, a label headed up by Robinson alongside Ghostemane and Bill Armstrong. A debut album titled “Time To Burn” is in the works with release details pending.
