Californian metalcore band Thrown Into Exile have also found a new label home with BLKIIBLK. The group are the latest to be announced in a signing spree that has also newly seen Cro-Mags, Forbidden, Nunslaughter and Unto Others join forces with the label. That wave of new additions to the roster came about as the label has assumed new leadership in part under Mike Gitter, who has been named global head of A&R for BLKIIBLK via the Frontiers Music Group. Thrown Into Exile have a new album in the works for a release later in the year. The band commented of securing this new deal:
“We couldn’t be more happy to be working with Mike Gitter and BLKIIBLK Records, his A&R credits in metal are legendary and we look forward to what we will do together.”
Gitter added:
“Seeing Thrown Into Exile’s drive and vision for themselves, it’s not surprising to see the progress they’ve made as a band. They’ve crossed into contender status and I’m proud to be working together and have them as part of the BLKIIBLK roster.”
