Just in from Puscifer is the below new track “ImpetuoUs“. It’s the third and final single to be shared ahead of the February 06th release date for the alternative rock trio’s forthcoming new album “Normal Isn’t“. Acclaimed vocalist Maynard James Keenan (also of Tool/A Perfect Circle fame) fronts this outfit and had the following to say about this latest song:
“I’m looking forward to hearing where this song takes people. As the writers, we forget that in a way, we are carpenters and that we’ve been with this song since it was a pile of lumber. Our Perspective may differ from the final occupant of this space we’ve constructed. Shelter, Bridge or Gallows, Coffin? Curious to find out.”
The visuals that accompany this new track preview the upcoming Puscifer comic book series, ‘Tales From The Pusciverse‘, The first issue of that series highlights the character Bellendia Black, whom the band previously introduced in their music video for “Pendulum“. Keenan penned the story for that upcoming series and co-edited it alongside Julie Gonzales. Marlin Shoop handled the art for it. Further details about this foray into the world of comics are pending.
