Australian progressive alternative metal outfit Karnivool have followed this month’s debut of their newest single “Opal” with an official music video. Adam Rule directed that clip, with the band themselves stating of it:
“We wanted to have the painted animated world in this clip to feel akin to the album cover art in some way, keeping the same tones and palette. When Adam and the Rythm guys suggested this approach, it clicked with us as the sleeping giant idea was something that stuck from the very first writing sessions through to the final version here – it’s got a bit of power as well as beauty to it.”
“Opal” is the third single to be released thus far from the group’s upcoming first new album in over a decade, “In Verses“. That outing will be touching down on February 06th via Cymatic Records/The Orchard.
