Alternative metal outfit Holy Wars are the latest artist to try their hand at covering Nine Inch Nails this fall. The band have taken on “Hurt“, the closing track to the legendary industrial metal band’s lauded 1994 sophomore album “The Downward Spiral“. That song of course was later given new life thanks to a multi-platinum cover by country legend Johnny Cash.
Most recently the song was covered by progressive metal outfit Between The Buried And Me. While Holy Wars have previously covered the track live, they opted for an in-studio performance of their rendition in today’s (December 16th) freshly unveiled video.
