Last weekend’s ‘Saddest Day‘ festival at the Roadrunner in Boston, MA featured some setlist surprises. The Converge-curated event saw the metalcore masters bring back numerous tracks for their set. Year Of The Knife themselves kicked off their set with a new song. Also adding some spice to their setlist were reunited metalcore outfit Coalesce.

Their set appeared to feature some three new tracks, as well as a pair of guest appearances. For the latter, Cave In, Mutoid Man, etc. vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky joined in for “Wild Ox Moan“. Touché Amoré vocalist Jeremy Bolm also stepped in for a cover of Minor Threat‘s “Seeing Red“. As for new tracks, the setlist for the night listed the new tracks as ‘Kindness‘ ‘B. Coffee‘ and ‘Cr. Green‘, all of which appeared to be working titles — or at least abbreviated names.

Full fan-filmed footage of the set is available below with the following setlist played:

Coalesce reunited in 2024 and have yet to issue any new material since their return. Their latest full-length, “Ox“, arrived back in 2009.
