Venerated music industry publication Billboard have published their lists of the top albums and top songs of 2025. While a banner year for metal and hard rock as a whole on the charts, the heavier genres weren’t exactly favored by Billboard on their ‘The Best 50 Albums Of 2025’ list‘ list. Alternative metal royalty Deftones landed at #34 with their tenth studio album, “private music“. Melodic hardcore stars Turnstile fared better, with their critically acclaimed “NEVER ENOUGH” taking home the tenth spot on the list.
As for Billboard‘s ‘The 100 Best Songs Of 2025’ list, Deftones ranked at #85 with their track “infinite source“. Likewise, Turnstile nabbed the #39 spot for the title track to their aforementioned album.
