Metalcore heavyweights Knocked Loose have dropped off of the impending ‘Good Things Festival‘, as well as their side shows in Australia, in light of a family emergency. The band said in a statement:
“We’re very sorry to everyone but we have to cancel our Australia trip, including the Good Things Festival and our headline shows around it. Anyone familiar with this band knows we do not take cancelling shows lightly; but family will always come first. We are already planning our return and cannot wait to be back as soon as possible. Love you all.”
That aforementioned fest was also hit with another cancelation due to a family emergency, with The All-American Rejects subsequently being forced to drop off the bill. Alpha Wolf will be taking the place of Knocked Loose, while Stand Atlantic will assume the spot previously held by The All-American Rejects. Alpha Wolf commented:
“Unfortunately, our friends in Knocked Loose are unable to play the Good Things Festival, we’re sending them all our love and we’re going to try our best to fill their shoes on super short notice. Catch us on the Main Stage at 3:30pm in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this weekend!”
This year’s “Good Things Festival‘ will be headlined by Tool and Weezer, with sets from Machine Head, Lorna Shore, the final Australian live performances from Refused and more also on the bill.
