Opeth have marked the first anniversary of their fourteenth studio album “The Last Will And Testament” with the debut of a new music video. Released on November 22nd, 2024, that record saw the surprising return of death metal elements that the band had largely drifted away from since their pivot to progressive rock following 2008’s “Watershed“.
Absynthe Moon Media directed and animated this clip for “Paragraph 3“, which brings to life the story crafted by Opeth‘s vocalist/guitarist Mikael Åkerfeldt for the album. For that record Åkerfeldt fleshed out a tale of a rich patriarch’s will being read in post-World War I going on to make shocking revelations about the family in question.
