The Devil Wears Prada were forced to cut their performance in Paris, France short this past Friday, November 21st. In the below fan-filmed footage, vocalist Mike Hranica could be seen in a state of physical discomfort and walked off to the side of the stage where he kneeled over prior to the song “So Low” finishing. The set ended after that incident, with Hranica requiring hospitalization for an undisclosed ailment afterwards.
A statement issued on the matter today, November 23rd, by the band spells out the situation, indicating he is currently recuperating, but will not be able to make today’s scheduled performance in Vienna, AUT.
“Our deepest apologies to our friends in Vienna as we are unable to make the show tonight. Mike was hospitalized before we could finish our show in Paris, and we’re taking an additional day of rest to prepare for the rest of the tour supporting Ice Nine Kills. Mike is recuperating.
We promise we’ll back in Paris and Vienna next year, we appreciate your understanding and look forward to next time around!”
