Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson and rapper Lil Bushwick have gone full-blown ‘Rick And Morty‘ in the newly released video for their track “We Gone“. That audio/visual tribute to the popular adult animated sci-fi series is taken from Lil Bushwick‘s debut album. The latter MC is the son of late Ghetto Boys rapper Bushwick Bill. As a nod to his father’s legacy, Lil Bushwick dropped his self-titled album on Halloween, which as it so happened, fell on a weekend — if you know, you know.
Speaking of this track in particular and its Voidstomper-directed video, Bushwick stated, “‘We Gone‘ is where my love for fashion and animation collide. It’s a creative trip that captures me and Sid’s energy, letting our imagination run wild.” Wilson added, “This is the futures past clique, we’re living in the futures past. So when we arrive, we’re already gone.”
Wilson signed Lil Bushwick to his fledgling Vomit Face Records, a new label venture he co-founded alongside rapper/producer, etc. J57. Wilson also served as the producer for this new record.
