AVTT/PTTN, the seemingly unlikely pairing between bluegrass/folk rockers The Avett Brothers and alternative metal icon Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, etc.), have announced their first tour together. That run will commence this spring and find the pairing out supporting their newly released self-titled debut album, which saw a release today, November 14th.
That’s not all they have lined up though. The outfit will also be the musical guest on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘ on November 26th. Furthermore, they’ve lined up an album signing event for November 24th at Rough Trade in NYC, and an appearance at the GRAMMY Museum on November 25th with actor/comedian Eric Andre taking part.
