It seems the imminent arrival of Old Man Winter has a bit of competition this year. Post-metal supergroup Old Man Gloom have just announced their return to active duty, with some apparent new material being hammered out. That band unites current and former members of Converge, Cave In, Isis, SUMAC and more. They said the following in their social media post made yesterday, October 30th:
“We’ve realized that since we took a year or two off, everything went to shit. So now we’re coming to work it all out. Get your checkbooks and body hair trimmers ready. Resume the gloom.”
