System Of A Down vocalist Serj Tankian shared his song “Sonic Expulsions” today, October 17th. That track emerges as part of a weekly series of debuts of songs from his “Covers, Collaborations & Collages” compilation, which is due out next Friday, October 24th. Tankian has been premiering a new track from that collection each Friday leading up to next week’s final reveal of the album’s closing track, “When Death Arrives“. Leaning in on the origins of this latest offering, Tankian commented:
“I wrote this song in New Zealand about a decade ago. It started with acoustic guitar and was built out with beats and different instrumentation. The vocals are a one-take stream of consciousness about love. It’s a lighthearted track and kind of silly in some parts. Enjoy!”
