Canadian hardcore band Cancer Bats will be back out on the road in their this December for a run of shows as their Black Sabbath tribute band alter ego, Bat Sabbath. They won’t be alone in covering another band onstage during that run. Ethereal Tomb are set to join them, performing Slipknot tracks under the guise of Sliptomb.
Meanwhile, Diner Drugs will open the run with a Misfits tribute set under the name of the Pissfits. Tickets for that Canadian run will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, October 10th, at 10:00am EDT. Cancer Bats/Bat Sabbath vocalist Liam Cormier commented:
“In December we will gather on Canadian soil to honour the great Ozzy Osbourne in song and worship through the power of Black Sabbath! We Bats are merely four humble servants of the riff, and shall do our best to worship and exalt the legendary Ozzy across these stages! Many Hails!”
