While the just concluded 2025 ‘Furnace Fest‘ ran into some rough waters with soft ticket sales that led to a public plea and ticket price reduction from the festival’s organizers, the annual event will be back in 2026. This year’s edition of the festival, which played out in Birmingham, AL this past weekend, was a surprising return, given that the 2024 edition had been proclaimed to be the final ‘Furnace Fest‘. Organizers would soon go on to reverse that decision last fall.
As seen on signage at this past weekend’s event and on the festival’s social media (see below), plans are already in place for a 2026 edition of the fest. This year’s headliners included Jimmy Eat World, Dropkick Murphys and Knocked Loose.
