With the weekly song premiere series getting close to winding down, System Of A Down vocalist Serj Tankian has unveiled yet another new track from his “Covers, Collaborations & Collages” album. The latest features ideas born out of sessions that originally took place with late Swedish DJ/producer Avicii. It also sports guest guitar work from D.S. Bradford. Tankian commented:
“Originally, parts of this song were written while in the studio with AVICII some years ago. We had planned on coming together on a song, though it never fully came to fruition before his career took off, and then, sadly, he passed away. The parts I had were very important to me, so I used those to create ‘Kneeling Away From The Sun‘.”
Tankian has been sharing a new track each Friday leading up to the eventual October 24th release of the aforementioned album.
