Floridian post-hardcore/screamo band From First To Last paired up with Kellin Quinn of platinum-certified post-hardcore outfit Sleeping With Sirens for their newly released single “Mirror Soul“. Quinn will also be singing for From First To Last at the upcoming ‘Furnace Fest‘ in Birmingham, AL next month on Friday, October 03rd. Quinn said of that longtime dream:
“My first warped in 2004 was to see FFTL. I learned most of what I know about singing because of the album ‘Dear Diary‘. Fast forward my bands 2nd or 3rd ever tour is with FFTL. Fast forward Matt produces 3 songs on our album How it feels to be lost. Finally this summer Matt and I co-wrote a song for my bands upcoming album and I mentioned how much his band meant to me and how honored I was to know and work with him.. he then asked if I wanted to come and sing the songs I grew up listening to @furnacefest Younger me still doesn’t believe it.. I’m so excited to be able to go out and play a show with my hero’s and be featured on a song! Now please excuse me.. I need to get back to rehearsing and running this upcoming set.. see you in the crowd for ride the wings.”
