Varials have invited fans into their new era a bit earlier than expected. While the Pittsburgh, PA-based metalcore group have been teasing a September 19th debut of a new single titled “I’ll Find The Dark” on social media this week, they also since given fans the opportunity to sign up and listen to it early. With the internet being the internet, the associated music video they filmed for this new song with director Midvessel is now circulating online.

This new Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Signs Of The Swarm) produced track finds the band officially welcoming CELL vocalist Skyler Conder to the fold, after having enlisted him as their touring vocalist earlier in the year. He replaces Mitchell Rogers, who went on to join the retooled post-hardcore band Chiodos.

Conder said of this track:

“‘I’ll Find the Dark‘ lyrically tries to captivate the overall theme of being consumed by pain throughout existence. The idea was for the instruments to be just as aggressive as the vocals and lyrics of the song itself. The track tries to express the emotional distress of feeling lost within yourself, being terrified of existence and living, as well as trying to overcome some sense of grief and heartache.”
