Galactic Empire have released their cover of the theme from the Tolkien film franchise ‘Lord Of The Rings‘ that was created by composer Howard Shore. Galactic Empire‘s Lord Sihk said of putting their stamp on this composition:
“Behold! The mighty Galactic Empire has infiltrated the remote system of Mordor to pay tribute to ‘The Lord of the Rings‘. This composition is a medley of the iconic themes from the franchise. The powerful Sith Lord Howard Shore has created many defining musical moments throughout the epic film series and The Empire has worked tirelessly to do them justice. We hope to evoke the Dark Lord Sauron with this metallic journey into the heart of Mount Doom.”
This rendition is part of Galactic Empire‘s new studio album “Cinemetal“, due out through Pure Noise on October 24th. Unlike past albums from the masked collective, it finds them branching out from the ‘Star Wars‘ universe to tackle themes from various film franchises.
