The RIAA has just handed down a new wave of platinum and gold certifications for the likes of A Day To Remember, Pierce The Veil and The Plot In You. First up is A Day To Remember‘s “Paranoia“. That lead single from their 2016 album “Bad Vibrations” has newly attained gold status in the United States.

The Plot In You‘s 2018 TikTok hit “Feel Nothing” has officially gone platinum in the U.S., marking the melodic metalcore band’s first time hitting that status. That track was previously certified gold back in November of 2022.

Pierce The Veil meanwhile racked up a pair of new single certifications. “Pass The Nirvana“, the first single from their 2023 album “The Jaws Of Life“, has just hit gold status. In an impressive feat, “King For A Day“, the lead single from their 2012 album “Collide With The Sky“, has just landed its 3rd multi-platinum certification. It previously hit 2x platinum back in June of last year.

*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
