Kittie have unveiled a brand new music video directed by Wombat Fire (Bad Wolves, Asking Alexandria) for their newly re-recorded version of the title track to their 1999 gold-certified debut album, “Spit“. The band’s Lander sisters originally recorded that nü-metal effort in their teenage years, and how now delivered a more abrasively refined take on it some 25 years later.
The group didn’t exactly hide their plans to take this trip down memory lane, recently hinting at their plans via reteaming with producer GGGarth Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Mudvayne). Richardson had previously sat behind the boards on both “Spit” and their sophomore follow-up, “Oracle“. You can hear the end result of this new sonic update below:
