Dark Angel‘s fifth studio album, and their first since 1991, “Extinction Level Event“, will now meet a September 05th release date through Reversed Records. This comeback effort from the Californian thrashers was produced and engineered by Rob Shallcross (Overkill, Fear Factory), who also manages the band and heads up the label mentioned above. Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Metallica) took on the mixing duties.
Drummer Gene Hoglan said of this new effort:
“Musically, lyrically, and vocally, I’m so stoked about this album.” He went on to add, “I’m really excited about Dark Angel right now. And everyone who’s heard the new album is losing their minds.”
