The Armed have been paying tribute to industrial metal Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers Nine Inch Nails during their limited run of live shows this month. To that end, the Michigan experimental metalcore/post-hardcore collective have begun playing covers of Nine Inch Nails‘ “The Fragile” track “Somewhat Damaged” live.
Fan-filmed footage has surfaced of their rendition being shown off, seemingly for the first time, during the band’s set at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA this past Thursday, August 14th. While The Armed have their new album “THE FUTURE IS HERE AND EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED” to promote, this cover also lands in their setlist as Nine Inch Nails themselves returned to active duty this year, hitting the road after several years of hiatus.
