European deathcore band Distant have surprise released a newly re-imagined and re-recorded version of their 2019 debut album “Tyrannotophia“. That seminal opus for the band has been reworked in the studio from the ground up, with the band collectively sharing of it:
“We’re beyond stoked to finally announce ‘Tyrannotophia Redux‘ — a full re-imagining of our 2019 record ‘Tyrannotophia‘. This isn’t just a re-master — we went all in.
We re-recorded all the vocals from scratch, reworked a few of the guest spots, and gave the entire album a brand new mix and master by Simone Pietroforte to bring the production up to the same punishing level as our latest releases.
The ‘Redux’ features some crushing new and returning guest vocal performances:
