A six-figure set of GWAR action figures are in the pipeline via a partnership with Trick Or Treat Studios. Those 5″ figures feature several points of articulation and come with each members respective instrument and weapon.
Collecting all 5 of these miniaturized versions of the Scumdogs of the Universe, plus a separate spew tank housing red slime and body parts, all ties into a build-a-figure bonus offer to assemble a figure based on the band’s late vocalist Oderus Urungus. Three key parts required to complete Oderus are housed in that slime container, including his head, torso, and the vaunted Cuttlefish of Cthulhu. The remaining appendages have been packaged in with the other figures in the set. An early October release date is expected for the set with pre-orders available now via gwar.net.
Pustulus Maximus – spear, dagger & guitar
Beefcake the Mighty – sword & bass

Fresh off of releasing their “The Return Of Gor Gor” comic book/EP set, GWAR will be out on the road for the better part of the year. Those unable to catch them live still have the opportunity to catch a show from home, as they will be livestreaming their June 21st, 2025 set at the Caverns in Pelham, TN on August 22nd under the banner of “GWAR: Live From The Hellmouth“. You can check that out via Veeps.
Last night (August 11th) meanwhile found the band announce their second-ever tour of Australia, this time around as part of the ‘Good Things Festival‘ alongside Tool, Weezer, Machine Head and more. Drummer Jizmak Da Gusha commented of that:
“GWAR is obtaining work visas as undercover plumbers to unclog all the disgusting items Aussies put down their drains. But, the truth is, we have been asked to come back to Australia to fix all of their government’s problems. Should take about a week. I’m secretly excited to go down under because it’s shark season and lots of people are being eaten, which is very entertaining for me. Fun vacation all around.”
Vocalist Blöthar the Berserker added:
“For the second time in 40 years, GWAR is going down under. That’s right. December 2025, we invade our favorite penile colony. So throw another corpse on the barbie and get ready for metal, mutants, blood, and trickling rivulets of laughter! Because we are the true gods of shock rock, and we are coming to Australia!”
