Michigan based band Heartsick have an October 01st release date in mind for their next album “Break The Curse“. Their newly debuted song, “Stuck In The Ground“, is one of the eleven songs they will have featured on that record when it arrives on digital and vinyl formats.
Director Wombat Fire (Mudvayne, All That Remains) took on overseeing this clip, which drew inspiration from the self-described ‘darknucore’ band’s shared love of zombie movies. Vocalist Alfonso Civile explained of this Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, King 810) produced track:
“When we were writing the song in the studio with Josh Schroeder, I could not be there for this session. So, the guys sent me the finished music, and it was just so dark and broody. It just puts this image in my mind of movies like ‘Dawn of the Dead‘ where Zombies just pop out of the ground in hordes. It just felt like the right thing to write about.”
