Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil returned to the stage last night, August 01st, for his first live show since September of last year. The glam metal icon and his aforementioned multi-platinum band have been forced to forego their 2025 touring thus far, due to Neil requiring an undisclosed medical procedure.
That procedure and the resulting recovery time forced Mötley Crüe to postpone their planned April residency in Las Vegas, NV, as well as a May performance at the ‘Boardwalk Rock‘ festival in Ocean City, MD. While details regarding the extent of his health woes were not fully disclosed, Neil did address his downtime from the stage last night at the MGM Music Hall In Boston, MA, stating:
“Hey, thank you, everybody. It’s good to be here. I haven’t been on stage since almost a year now. I had a medical thing that happened to me, and they said I wouldn’t be back on stage here. I said, ‘Fuck that, man.’ And I’m back and I’m with you guys tonight. And I’m really proud to be here, man. Thank you so much.”
