A brand new track Sinsaenum titled “Obsolete And Broken“. Taken from their next album “In Devastation“, this song is the third new cut to be shared from their aforementioned new album, which itself is headed for August 08th on earMUSIC. The blackened death metal supergroup’s founding guitarist and primary songwriter Frédéric Leclercq (Kreator, ex-DragonForce) stated of this cut:
“‘Obsolete And Broken‘ is one the first songs I wrote for this new album. In my opinion, it has all the elements that define our new direction. It is melodic yet aggressive, it has intricate/technical parts, the bridge has clean vocals and guitar, and I’m particularly proud of the solo section which took me quite a while to get right. Lyrically, the song is more sci-fi based, which is also unusual for us.”
“In Devastation” is set to be the first album from the band since the 2021 passing of their drummer Joey Jordison (ex-Slipknot). His former drum tech Andre Joyzi, has since taken his role in the band.
