Brutal death metallers Internal Bleeding have confirmed their plans to release their seventh album, “Settle All Scores“, on October 17th through Maggot Stomp. The groove-laden Long Islanders self-produced the effort with, additional engineering and mixing done by Taylor Young, of Twitching Tongues, etc. fame.

While they don’t appear to be naming names, it would appear much of the album is intended to call out those who’ve wronged the band in the past. The just launched lead single “Crown Of Insignificance” certainly sets its sights on some select individuals, with the band collectively stating, “‘Crown Of Insignificance‘ is about a few specific people in the scene. It’s up to you to figure out who we’re talking about.”

Guitarist Chris Pervelis stated:

“‘Crown Of Insignificance‘ is a great example of how we’ve successfully incorporated dual vocals into our sound. While we experimented with dual vocals on our previous album, we never felt they were fully integrated. This time, however, we believe they are, and we are very pleased with the results.”

As the below track listing notes, a trio of former vocalists for the band make cameos on this forthcoming new record, so you can at least rule them out as suspects.
