ten56.‘s have confirmed a September 05th release date for their sophomore album, “IO“. The deathcore outfit, who are fronted by by ex-Betraying The Martyrs vocalist Aaron Matts, will be dropping that new album via Out Of Line Music. Revealed in tandem with the album’s release date is the below debut of a music video for the latest single from it, “I Know Where You Sleep“. Matts commented:
“We chose to announce the album alongside ‘I Know Where You Sleep‘ accompanied by it’s infomercial because it was important for us to give our audience a glimpse into what dark and twisted sounds and subject matter awaits on ‘IO‘, whilst also not giving too much away as to where else we have pushed the bar in terms of sonic influence. IKWYS sets the tone; our music is as sadistic as it’s ever been, yet this album is full of surprises and the rest is to be discovered.”
He went on to describe the album as, “a journey that starts from being taken advantage of by certain people, through feelings of revenge and questions of self doubt, before closing with self-reflection and revelation.” The band collectively stated:
“With ‘IO‘, we’ve taken the distinct foundation on which we built our debut album on, and pushed that twisted, vulgar, yet vulnerable emotional rollercoaster even further. We thoroughly hope people enjoy the journey we created with this pivotal sophomore release.”
