Californian melodic hardcore band Stick To Your Guns have launched some new merch to benefit Border Kindness, an organization dedicated to assisting asylum-seekers, migrants, refugees and the displaced with food, shelter, clothing, medical care and legal aid.
This new merch includes a t-shirt, a hoodie and a hat brandishing the animated logo of ‘Smash ICE’. One would presume it arrives in response to the escalating policies adopted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (AKA ICE) under the current U.S. administration, which most recently has led to massive protests in Los Angeles, CA.
Some notable artists from the metalcore and hardcore scenes have lent their support to this benefit campaign, with Knocked Loose, Terror, Rotting Out and Year Of The Knife also putting their logos on the shirt. The ‘Smash ICE’-branded attire will available from now until June 20th via stygmerch.com. Stick To Your Guns made a reference to their latest album “Keep Planting Flowers” with their comment on this benefit campaign, stating, “No one is illegal. Keep planting flowers.”
