Actor/musician Jared Leto is facing a new round of troubling allegations from incidents claimed to have taken place across the past two decades or so. An exposé newly published by Air Mail finds the 53-year-old Leto, who fronts the platinum-certified 30 Seconds To Mars, being accused of sexual assault, grooming, sexual misconduct and more by nine women.
More troubling, a number of his accusers claim they were knowingly as young as 16-years-old during the time of their alleged interactions with Leto. One woman, DJ Allie Teilz, once again shared her allegation that Leto attempted to “force himself” upon her backstage at a show when she was 17. She first publicly shared that allegation back in 2012.
Another woman, who claimed to be 16 at the time, stated that a chance encounter with Leto eventually conducting conversations with her of an explicitly sexual nature. Representatives for Leto have issued a statement “expressly” refuting the various allegations made in the piece to Air Mail, while also denying any claims that were shared against Leto that he had been partaking in drugs or alcohol.
