Paradise Lost Part Ways With Drummer Guido Zima

Paradise Lost have announced some turnover in their ranks, confirming they have parted ways with Guido Zima. The latter musician joined the British goth metallers back in March of 2023. Zima already had some ties to the band beforehand, given his role as the drummer for Strigoi, who also feature Paradise Lost‘s guitarist/keyboardist Gregor Mackintosh.

A statement issued today, May 29th, by Paradise Lost reads:

“We’ve made the difficult creative decision to part ways with our drummer, Guido Zima. We thank Guido for his contributions to the band and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We appreciate your continued support and understanding, and we’re looking forward to the next chapter with the band.”
