Finnish prog metallers Amorphis will have their fifteenth studio album “Borderland” out on September 26th through Reigning Phoenix Music. Guitarist Esa Holopainen had the following to share about this forthcoming entry in their catalog:
“‘Borderland‘ is the first Amorphis album produced in collaboration with Danish producer Jacob Hansen [Volbeat, The Black Dahlia Murder.] Before that, we had made three amazing records at Jens Bogren’s studio. During the planning phase of the project, we strongly felt that it was time to explore something new and see what working with a different producer might bring to the table!”
You’ll soon be able to hear the first single from that effort, “Light And Shadow“, which is headed for a June 06th premiere date. You can pre-save it now. The band have also announced the dates for a fall headlining tour of their homeland. Tickets will be available tomorrow, May 27th at 09:00am EEST.
