Heavy metal’s reigning kings in Metallica will be back in Europe and the UK next spring and summer for another leg of their world touring on their latest album “72 Seasons“. Support will vary by date, with GRAMMY Award-winning progressive metallers Gojira and rising metalcore crew Knocked Loose set to open select shows, while groove metal legends Pantera and Swedish alternative metal band Avatar will open additional dates.

Metallica will be continuing their tradition of no repeat weekends on that trek, meaning fans planning to attend multiple dates at the same venue won’t hear the same song twice. Members of Metallica‘s fan club are getting first crack at tickets, with pre-sales to go up this coming Tuesday, May 27th at 09:00am local time. Further pre-sale options will go live throughout next week. General onsale tickets for the assorted one night only performances will go on sale next Friday, May 30th at 10:00am local time.

Single day tickets for those hoping to attend the pair of weekend shows in a respective city will be available starting July 25th. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will go towards local charities via Metallica‘s All Within My Hands charity.
