Sevendust have stepped up to take over for 3 Doors Down on Creed‘s ‘Return Of The Summer Of ’99 Tour‘ this year. Three Doors Down were forced to cancel their touring plans in light of their vocalist Brad Arnold‘s recent stage 4 kidney cancer diagnosis. Speaking on joining the trek, Sevendust stated:
“We’ll be joining Creed on their upcoming Summer of ‘99 Tour to fill in for 3 Doors Down. Brad, we’re thinking of you and sending strength. Can’t wait to see you all out there.”
Sevendust won’t be assuming all of the shows previously booked to feature 3 Doors Down though, rather they’ll be appearing at the following three shows:
07/19 East Troy, WI – Summer Of ’99 And Beyond Festival
08/09 Mountain View, CA – Shoreline Amphitheatre
08/10 Stateline, NV – Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys
