If you haven’t made it to the theaters to catch the new vampire horror hit ‘Sinners‘, you may not be aware that the soundtrack for the film features a new song fronted by none other than Alice In Chains‘ vocalist/guitarist Jerry Cantrell. Titled “In Moonlight“, that song finds Cantrell paired up with composer Ludwig Göransson, who also helmed the score for the aforementioned film. Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich also took part. You can hear what they cooked for up below.
Cantrell himself weighed in on the experience, offering:
“I had a fun opportunity come up to work on creating a song with Ludwig Göransson and Lars Ulrich recently. ‘In Moonlight‘ expands on the main theme of the ‘Sinners‘ score. Ryan Coogler made a really cool, multilayered film, and it was my honor to contribute to the project.
