The second round of the ‘Sessanta‘ tour is now underway, with A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus having taken to the stage last night, April 24th, at the Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms, CA for the opening date. Originally conceived as a celebration of the 60th birthday of A Perfect Circle/Puscifer vocalist Maynard James Keenan back in 2024, the three aforementioned outfits decided to bring the trek back this year to hit up some cities they missed the first time around.
As with last year’s run, all three bands are back to stepping outside of their comfort zone for this tour, swapping members in and out throughout the night for a melting pot of songs and augmented renditions of each other’s works.
Notable among the setlist is the live debut of “Little Lord Fentanyl” — an as-yet unreleased new collaboration between Keenan and Primus. That track appears to have been penned for this tour in the vein of the the three-way split between A Perfect Circle, Puscifer and Primus that emerged for last year’s ‘Sessanta‘ festivities.
