Some 20 years after filming and subsequently shelving it, Trivium have dropped a previously unreleased music video for their song “Dying In Your Arms“. That track is taken from the band’s 2005 album “Ascendancy“, which they have been out on the road celebrating this year.
The band have also provided their own commentary on the clip, with vocalist/guitarist Matt Heafy stating of the video:
“We did a video for ‘Dying In Your Arms‘ about 20 years ago, and the video ended up so bad that our manager said, ‘we need to pull this video or your band…’ Someone said you should pull this video, because this video is not good. But now, 20 years later, we’re like, ‘We should watch this. We should show everyone what this is and see how we feel about it.’ Because I haven’t seen this video in 20 years.”
The North American leg of their ongoing “Ascendancy” 20th anniversary touring with Bullet For My Valentine (celebrating 20 years of “The Poison“), August Burns Red & Bleed From Within will pick back up tomorrow, April 19th:
