Today, April 11th, saw The Mars Volta unceremoniously drop their ninth studio album “Lucro sucio; Los ojos del vacio“. After leaking online months in advance, the band chose to largely keep quiet on the record, eventually going on to perform it in full nightly during their recently wrapped U.S. tour with Deftones and Fleshwater.
With that trek now complete, the prog rock outfit have now announced the dates for a fall North American tour. While openers are still TBA, pre-sales are due to launch this coming Monday, April 14th. The general onsale will be up next Friday, April 18th at 10:00am local time.
