Gridiron, the rapcore outfit comprised of Never Ending Game, Simulakra and Scarab members, have put up the ‘Big Umbrella Remix‘ of their track “Still Playin’ For Keeps“. That version reinvents the band’s earlier cut “Playin’ For Keeps” with guest spots from Daniel Son, Pro Dillinger & Jay Royale. It will appear on Gridiron‘s forthcoming album “Poetry From Pain“, out May 30th on Blue Grape Music. Vocalist Matthew Karll stated:
“‘Still Playin’ For Keeps‘ is a track that I’ve wanted to pull off for a long time. Gridiron riffs and some of my favorite current hip-hop artists on the same track. Hardcore and hip-hop meshing together into one entity is what this track is all about.”
