Outgoing multi-platinum pop-punk outfit Sum 41 have newly released an official cover of Rage Against The Machine‘s incendiary 1999 single “Sleep Now In The Fire” ahead of their final live performance. That song became a frequent setlist inclusion during Sum 41‘s touring back in 2023, with the band having previously issued a live video for it.
This newly released studio rendition arrives as part of an exclusive pair of tracks via the Spotify Singles series and arrives alongside the song “Landmines“. Having already concluded their farewell tour, Sum 41 are set to make their final live appearance this Sunday, March 30th, as part of the Juno Awards ceremony at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. The band are also set to be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame this weekend as well.
