A Metalhead Weatherman's New Sleep Token Tease Leads To Fan Speculation

Something Sleep Token related will apparently be arriving this Saturday, March 29th — at least according to a recent video shared by meteorologist Chris Michaels. That metal-loving weatherman/musician has gained viral fame over the years for repeatedly sneaking metal band lyrical references into his reports for WRAL News out of Raleigh, NC.

Today, March 27th, he shared the below post, which features the Sleep Token logo and the word ‘prepare’ alongside the date of March 29th. Given that Michaels has already made multiple mentions of Sleep Token on his social media and live broadcasts earlier this month, some fans are speculating that Michaels may have been given the nod by the masked alternative metal band to break some band-related news.

Then again, his tease could just be related to his attempts to cover the band’s latest single, “Emergence” (see his first stab below,) or his next Sleep Token-oriented weather report.

Sleep Token are currently riding high on the hype for their recently announced new album “Even In Arcadia“, due out May 09th. Their first attempt at mounting a headlining North American arena tour was revealed earlier this month and promptly sold out. Those dates include:
