Arriving online closely behind this morning’s reveal of their summer tour/fall headlining tour is the first taste of Chevelle‘s forthcoming tenth studio album. That track is titled “Rabbit Hole (Cowards Pt. 1)” and can be streamed via the below visualizer. It’s the first new music from the multi-platinum alternative metal band in four years and emerges via Alchemy Recordings, following the band’s lengthy stint on Epic Records.
The Illinois natives opted to self-produce this affair, bringing Beau Burchell (Saosin, etc.) onboard to mix. Speaking of this first taste of that new record, the group collectively shared:
“How about we all put on our tinfoil hats, slam a Dunkies, and go deep doomscrolling. If that sounds like your sorta thing, we’ve got a new song for you called ‘Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1)‘. Enjoy.”
