Some fans of Canadian alternative metallers Spiritbox received an early “Tsunami Sea” treat today (March 03rd) — at least temporarily. An apparently unplanned release of the band’s new track “Crystal Roses” surfaced online via digital service providers just ahead of the band’s impending March 07th release of their above-mentioned sophomore album.
The group’s vocalist Courtney LaPlante has since clarified that the single was released erroneously is being removed until the album’s official release.
I don’t normally like to air out behind the scenes things like this, but we did not approve putting out another single today. None of us were aware this was happening. I am extremely disappointed and only found out about it late last night, by chance. Trying to take it down asap
