Puddle Of Mudd‘s vocalist/guitarist Wes Scantlin delivered yet another concerning live performance over the weekend as part of a free March 01st benefit show at the Broken Spoke Saloon in Ormond Beach, FL. According to those in attendance at the Daytona Bike Week event, Scantlin was seen onstage rambling and attempting to perform in an inebriated state, adding yet another embarrassingly sloppy set to his well-documented history of problematic moments onstage.

Scantlin has had a long history of legal troubles and erratic behavior, much of which resulted from his problems with substance abuse. Back in 2018, the troubled musician stated that he had achieved nearly a year of sobriety, later crediting his religious faith and incarceration for helping him turn his life around. It unfortunately wasn’t all that long before run-ins with the police once gain cropped up for the multi-platinum musician however.

After being asked about this latest show by a fan a day afterwards, Scantlin stated:

“I suck, I suck and I suck, but I was roofied. My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he can go f*ck his ass.”

Apparently, the performance was bad enough that the venue’s owner would later go on to apologize to attendees for the set. Should you want to delve further into the mess, the comments on this Facebook post spell out the apparent train wreck that took place onstage.

Fan-filmed footage of that performance is available below. Some good did come from the performance however, as a guitar the band autographed raised $5,000 for children’s cancer research.
