Avant-garde death metal trio Imperial Triumphant have two percussive titans guesting on their freshly debuted new track, “Pleasuredome“. Drummer Dave Lombardo (Mr. Bungle, ex-Slayer, etc.) lends his expertise to the song, as does Tomas Haake of Meshuggah fame. However, rather than pushing the limits of time signatures behind the kit, Haake once again delivers spoken word on this cut. Brendan McGowan was tasked further tasked with the directorial duties for this song’s visual accompaniment.
The band commented of the track itself:
“Journey into sensuality and primal desire, where the flesh becomes a temple, and the hunt for passion unfolds like an ancient ritual. The ‘bell rings out,’ a summoning call to transcend ordinary pleasures and enter the Pleasuredome, a place where the divine and the animalistic merge.”
